This is the time of year when many people
relocate. Before moving weed out to avoid
transporting things you really don't need:
donate to charity
drop off at a consignment shop
throw it away
hold a garage or yard sale
Give careful thought to what makes sense to move
with you and what would be smarter to replace after
your settled.
Take an inventory of valuable items
and attach a picture and receipt to make claims
easier if anything is damaged.
Even if you're not moving, it's a good idea to live in
your house as though you may be moving soon. If
you wouldn't take it with you if, maybe it's time to
say goodbye!
