Back to School
Being a successful student takes more than just
knowing the right answers! Here are some tips to
help make your students the best they can be:
- Keep supplies (pens, pencils, paper, highlighters,
post-its, etc...) handy where homework is done.
- Teach your kids how to use an assignment
notebook.
- Check backpacks everyday for papers and notes
that come home.
- Mark your calendar as soon as you become aware
of important dates.
- Use a file folder labeled with each child's name
and
grade. Initially, keep important papers and notes
from school. As the year progresses, place any
important classroom papers in this folder. At the end
of the year, weed through and save only highlights
and keepsakes.
It's never too early to learn how to be organized!
