After posting about gift wrap storage, the questions came – what about all of the other stragglers like ribbon, bows and gift tags? Here are some options for the rest of holiday gift wrap storage. Remember, this is storage for collections of items. This doesn’t mean you need full containers of each of these items. You may be able to whittle down the items into one container. So when you see these visual ideas, don’t get the notion that you need to add to your collection. We are just giving you ideas to organize what you plan to keep. :-)

Ribbons are messy to store, they get tangled and are hard to keep organized. Here are some solutions:fd0edf69c216e84f952cb23c97d7aa84

Pre-made bows are a little harder to store because they can’t be stacked up nicely like ribbon. For storage, keeping them with your wrapping containers is best. If you can store them right along side wrapping paper and other gift wrap items, that’s the most optimal: 100086342.jpg.rendition.largest If you are in the midst of holiday wrapping and want to set up a gift wrap station, consider a 3-tiered basket. If makes good use of vertical space and allows you three levels to store an assortment of accessories. 100909980.jpg.rendition.largest

Gift tags are another element of the process. They shouldn’t take up much space, but you want them to be organized and easily accessible. Place them at the top of the 3-tiered basket above, for storage, they can fit nicely inside the gift wrap storage box.

If you find yourself frequently wrapping, you may want to consider a gift wrap station like this one from Pottery Barn:0660447f35ad77fd2aedc670adea04fbIt certainly won’t hold an entire collection, but if you keep a few all-purpose wrapping papers out, this system will make it easy to see what you have and wrap easily when you need to.

Happy wrapping!
